Glaucoma is a group of diseases that damages the optic nerve and eventually results in vision loss and blindness. The devastating reality of glaucoma is that it often goes undetected until it is too late since it usually has no symptoms.

More than 3 million Americans are living with glaucoma, most of whom are over the age of 40; however, it can affect all ages.

Our doctors are well trained to detect and treat the early signs of glaucoma. They will not only provide a comprehensive eye exam, which checks your visual acuity, eye pressure, pressure drainage system and all other risk factors for glaucoma, but they also incorporate more advanced glaucoma tests at your visit if need be.

A visual field exam, scanning retinal tomography of the optic nerve, pachymetry and gonioscopy will be performed to insure a meticulous glaucoma exam.

If treatment is necessary, we provide surgical and non-surgical treatment for glaucoma and glaucoma prevention.
